Thursday Afternoon Bug'd Photo Clue

It's another day and another set of incorrect guesses for that Bug'd location. At 8AM our guess was Pizza Putt, and at 12 Noon it was Costco. Both were wrong, but we're certainly getting a little warmer! To help out, here is another photo of that location.

Thursday Bug'd Photo Clue

Well, this microphone is proving to be quite good at hiding itself. We've had a lot of creative guesses so far, from the library, to the waterfront, to the DMV! Some folks even thought it might be hidden under their bed!

So far, it seems like at 8AM we hear silence. At 12 Noon we hear some sort of crowd noise, and at 4PM we hear silence again. Where could this bug be!!

Another Bug'd Winner!

45 seconds and finally a winner! Sandy from Fairfax gave those dialing fingers a workout at noon today, got through as caller #9 and made that guess - and was correct! She guessed the Bug'd location as the bridge on Route 116 in Bristol and picked up $500!

We're taking the afternoon off, moving the microphone, enjoying the nice weather, and will be back tomorrow morning at 8AM with 3 seconds of audio.

Friday Afternoon Bug'd Photo Clue

Okay, so I think at this point, Richmond is just out. This bridge is not in Richmond. But where is it? Some of you definitely know EXACTLY where this is. Maybe one of you was driving over it at noon when we raised that microphone... how funny would that have been!

Friday Morning Bug'd Photo Clue

Well, 8AM has come and gone, and another wrong guess. This one was for the bridge on Bridge Street in Richmond. Like the weekend temperatures, we're getting warmer! So, we go to noon today, with 33 seconds on the clock. And, once again, to help you along, here is yet another picture of the Bug'd location. Thursday Afternoon Bug'd Update

Well folks, this has certainly been a crazy week of great guesses as well as some shots in the dark. On Monday, after only 6 seconds, Robby from Milton took a shot in the dark and correctly identified the Bug'd location as the Grand Isle - Plattsburgh ferry.

Unfortunately, the rest of the week has not been as fruitful. We've been hoping to hand over another $500, but no one has been able to pinpoint this bug! Guesses have ranged from the AuSable Chasm, to the Winooski Falls, to the Vergennes Waterfall... even I-89. Those guesses weren't even in the ballpark, but we know a few of you are on the right track.

We've had a lot of people call in and try to guess out of turn, and more than one of you knows exactly where this microphone is located. BUT, you need to be caller number 9 to make a guess and win the cash!

So, tomorrow morning at 8AM, be sure to turn the volume up really loud, and be ready to give those dialing fingers a big workout, because the phones are hot! Your Friendly BBI Update

So, you may have seen the posters up all over the Champlain Valley, the BBI, or Bug'd Bureau of Investigation, is here to help you in you search for the locations of the hidden microphones that have been planted by Eagle Country 97.5.

Yesterday afternoon we sent out an email to the members of our Eagle's Nest Loyal Listener Club with a photo of the Bug'd location. Unfortunately, our 8AM caller this morning must not have been a member of the Club, because she incorrectly guessed that the location was the Four Seasons Garden Center. She was WAY off base.

So, for you, our valued Bug trackers, here is that same piece of photo evidence.

It looks like some of the guesses we've received so far have been in the right vicinity, but not close enough to win the $500.

3 Winners, $1500 Cash!

So, it's been an exciting first week of Bug'd here at Eagle Country 97.5! So far, we've given away $1500 in cash. Last Tuesday, Christine Burbo of Burlington correctly guessed that the hidden microphone was located at the baggage claim of the Burlington International Airport.

On Wednesday, after hearing only 6 seconds of audio, Terri Boylan of Burlington correctly identified the microphone as being located at the food court of the University Mall.

Finally, after many incorrect guesses, and after hearing 30 seconds of audio, Holly Kusalonis of Plattsburgh got through the barrage of phone calls as caller #9, detailed the mic location as being the center court mechanical, ball-dropping, art thing at the Champlain Centre mall and picked up another $500!

So, that leaves us this afternoon to move the microphone and get set up for another round of Bug'd, beginning tomorrow morning at 8AM with Brian Ram and Miss L.
